Hold fn 1, or say “write mode” first, and speak what you want rather than the words themselves. MemoFlow writes it and inserts the result.
Say “block 3 to 5 tomorrow for deep work” and it goes on your calendar instead of being typed.
Day and week are now a real time grid, with a line at the current time and overlapping events side by side.
A library of your own Flows, with the generated result up front instead of the prompt.
Settings is now seven tabs instead of one long scroll, so related settings sit together.
Calendar access can finally be granted. The app carried the entitlement but was missing the description macOS needs before it will show the permission prompt.
Questions, answered
Is anything uploaded to the cloud?
No. Recording, transcription, summaries, and chat all run on your Mac using Apple Intelligence and Whisper on the Neural Engine. Your recordings and transcripts live in a local database on your disk. MemoFlow needs no account and works fully offline.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams?
Yes — with any meeting app. MemoFlow captures your microphone and your Mac's system audio, so it hears both sides of any call and labels who said what (You vs. Others). No bot joins the call. Calendar connection is optional and can link Google, Outlook or iCloud events to their recordings.
Does it really support Hindi and Hinglish?
Yes. MemoFlow runs Whisper large-v3 turbo on-device, transcribing Hindi in Devanagari and handling Hinglish code-switching — English words mixed into Hindi sentences come out naturally. Auto-detection picks the right language per meeting.
How is this different from Otter, Fireflies, or Granola?
Those services process your meetings on their servers. MemoFlow processes everything on your Mac — nothing is uploaded, so nothing can leak, be subpoenaed from a third party, or become training data. It's also the only one with local Hindi and Hinglish support.
What does dictation do?
Hold a hotkey in any app, speak, and release — clean text is typed into whatever field has focus. MemoFlow removes filler words, fixes punctuation, and applies your self-corrections: say “at 6 o'clock — no, at 7” and it types “at 7 o'clock.” Works in English, Hindi, and Hinglish.
